Much has been told about Gaudí, and as a final piece of information we will say that he was hit by a tram on June 7, 1926, nobody recognized him and finally a guard stopped a taxi that took him to the hospital. As he looked like a beggar, no one noticed who it was until the next day on June 8, the chaplain of the Sagrada Familia, identified him. But he died on June 10 and was buried on June 12 in his Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Familia. The importance of Gaudí is due to the existence of patrons who support effort and talent. This is the case of Eusebi Güell, someone who found in the work of Gaudí the inspiring power and the creative capacity that we all know. Part of my Barcelona and Gaudi series. The Cyclist and skeleton was part of street theater outside Gaudi's House and it seemed "interesting" to install these actors as static objects in Gaudi's bathroom. The skyline is made up of well known landmarks in the city including the Olympic Tower.
