I have been to Norfolk Island many times but there is always something new to discover. This was the first time I have been down to the beach at Anson Bay, although I have stood above on the cliffs several times. Such a wonderful beach, it will be at the top of my list on my next visit.

After two years I was finally able to visit my family in Prestwick, Ayrshire, Scotland again. We were really lucky because nearly the whole time it was sunny and warm, so we visited the beach as often as we could. On one evening the sunset was especially stunning, this image here is from this day - the sun is being reflected in the ocean and gives the waves an orange look, so beautiful! When you look at the picture, can you feel the calming effect?

This picture for me was such a fun process, when creating it I wanted to have some really warm lighting and try and convey a feeling of hope with the paper cranes, I really hope you enjoy this as much as I did it truly was so much fun and I love the outcome!

Beautiful desert sunset sky

Strokkur, the main active geyser in the Geysir geothermal area in Iceland's Golden Circle, as it erupts. The anticipation was palpable as the crowds pressed in as close as they dared during the 8 minute wait between eruptions, and when it did erupt, it went many metres higher than most of us were expecting!

Black Rock Beach is a relatively narrow beach lying below 20 m high, vegetated bluffs. Beach Road runs along the top of the bluffs and the Black Rock Life Saving Club, founded in 1913, sits on top of the bluffs, with a good view of the beach. A car park and a picnic area are located on the bluffs just south of the club house. The main beach is 750 m long and is composed of medium to coarse sand, which produces a steep beach face and usually no bar. As a result, deep water lies immediately off the beach. The beach narrows to the south, where the bluffs were stabilised in the 1930s with the construction of a seawall and walkway. The eroding bluffs left sandstone reefs off the beach, on which higher waves break, particularly at low tide. The b
