This design was inspired by the 1985 martial arts classic, The Last Dragon. The baddest mofo low down around town is The Shogun of Harlem himself, Sho'Nuff! He's the meanest and prettiest and the only guy that stands between Sho and total supremacy is his nemesis, Bruce Leroy Green.

This design has been gestating in my mental incubator for longer than I care to admit. It has mutated and transformed into the monstrosity you see today. Pretty appropriate, considering the source material.

The character, Jack Burton played by Kurt Russell is inspired by the 1986 cult classic, Big Trouble in Little China. He is the big goofball all American trucker who believes he's the hero that everybody needs. In reality, he had no clue what in the world he was getting himself into when it came to Chinese black magic and sorcery.

These characters were inspired by the 1986 cult classic, Big Trouble in Little China. There's Jack Burton as the big goofball all American trucker who believes he's the hero everybody needs and the villainous, Lo Pan who is a powerful wizard cursed with no flesh and is seven feet tall. Then there is little old, Egg Shen with his six demon bag who is equally a powerful wizard and Lo Pan's eternal nemesis. The only female is the lovely, spirited Gracie Law who is a lawyer from Chinatown protecting immigrant rights and lastly, the true hero of the bunch is Wang Chi. His pursuit to rescue his beloved Miao Yin is what all the trouble is about.

The young karate star, Mike Barnes with all the moves and attitude to take karate to the next level. He signed a tentative deal with Terry Silvers to be a part owner of all the Cobra Kai dojos, but if he defeats Daniel LaRusso in the 1985 All Valley Karate Championships, Mike would become 50% owner.

This design was inspired by the 1984 Arnold Schwarzenegger scifi classic, The Terminator. An elite soldier from the future travels back to 1984 to protect a young woman from an unrelenting, monstrous, artificial intelligent robotic force.

This was inspired by the 1984 coming of age, cult classic, The Karate Kid. This illustration was inspired from a scene in the 1984 cult classic film, The Karate Kid. Original fans of the film will always remember these boys as bullies but a generation has passed and now the lines are blurring. Were they bullies? or were they just being boys?
