Inkscape Mugs

My love of coffee and designs which read as one thing from a distance and another up close inspired this work. Safety yellow and black has been used throughout to indicate under-caffeinated danger to onlookers. A simple vector design created in Inkscape. This has been created with a clear background. On my recent trip to Japan I was extremely inspired by the majesty of Mount Fuji! I decided to do "31 Views of Mt. Fuji" as my theme for this year's Inktober. All the paintings are done with Sumi Ink and are based on my photos that I took while in Japan ^-^ We were there in mid-September but the weather was still hot. We were thrilled to find there were still plenty of flowers to oggle at. These ones were beautiful groupings of tiny, four-leafed purple flowers that I'm not quite sure what the name of is.
