Modern Zebra on a striking magenta / hot pink background. A vector illustration that I created using the stripes of the zebra to form the body. I offset the white body in order to be reminiscent of screen printing process. Inspired by the zebras at my local zoo I tried a more "pop" art take on this bizzare animal.

The morning light begins to shine through my 40 year old plant to paint abstract shapes across the wall. The subtleties of light, reflection, line and shape called to me one morning on the way to breakfast and I thought I'd share them with you using a painterly treatment over the photo. This one met with it's demise shortly after I scanned it. Sad day! Glad I got it scanned first.

The land I live in used to be all bayous and swamps with small bits of higher land. It's quite inspiring at times.
