I love this technique: you use acrylic inks . You wet a large canvas with water using a spray bottle. Then drop inks on the canvas. I used a yellow, blue and magenta, and also white ink. Then put plastic wrap on top, and manipulate it , and let it create random texture and patterns. Let it dry for 2 hours, or however long it takes to dry. Remove plastic, and let dry more if needed. In 2008, our global plastic consumption worldwide was estimated at 260 million tons! For decades now the petrochemical industries have been profiteering from churning out masses upon masses of plastic materials for a plethora of uses ~ as goods 'disposable' within society. As populations have expanded 'our lust' for consumables has grown... With this shift in mentality we have also moved away from the value and true measure of life ~ the capacity to care for animals and plants that surround us...
