A quiet spot for cattle to drink on the River Pang just south of Pangbourne in West Berkshire. Here the riverside footpath leads south from Pangbourne to Tidmarsh. The Pang, one of England's ecologically valued chalk streams, starts its life on the Berkshire Downs near Compton (depending on rainfall!) and supports a wide variety of wildlife. This is a digital drawing from my original photograph.

Cape Knox RoRo Ship on the Mississippi River by Debra Martz Both Cape Knox and Cape Kennedy are docked at this location side by side with Cape Knox on the outer side. They are RoRo ships which stands for roll-on / roll-off meaning it’s a vessel that has been designed to carry wheeled cargo: Anything that can be ‘rolled on' and then 'rolled off’ the ship. These ships do not rely on cranes for loading or unloading. This was explained to us by the narrator on the Creole Queen historical cruise we took out of New Orleans. The sun is just beginning to peep over Cambois Pier on the River Blyth in Northumberland on the North East coast of England and the colourful sky is casting the tall ship Williams III into silhouette.

The Offshore Jack-up Vessel Vole au Vent making its way very slowly backwards up the River Blyth in North East England on a sunny February afternoon, with the tugboat Blyth Endeavour following with six Yokohama Fenders for use when the ship berths.

A lovely, sunny spring morning on the River Tyne in the North East of England. Newcastle upon Tyne is bathed in sunshine while sitting under a blue sky with white fluffy clouds with a hint of warmer days to come - hopefully!

The "Pub nad Paddle" canoes tied to wooden staging on the River Wensum. These canoes are located near the Ribs of Beef pub and are available to hire for a pub crawl with a difference. There are many riverside pubs in Norwich and you can hire these canoes to visit them.
