Founded in 1930, Smith's Transfer Corporation was based out of Staunton, Virginia and, inside of 50 years, grew to be the eighth-largest trucking company in America. For decades, you could find their signature 'ST' logomark on their silver trailers traveling from coast to coast until the company was bought out in the early '80s.

Bridge 166 crossing the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal as it leaves the basin in Brecon, South Wales. Dating from the early 1800s the canal was constructed to transport coal and iron to Newport. It also joined with a system of tramways linking mines and quarries to the waterway. It winds its way through the Brecon Beacons, largely following the contours of the mountains as it tracks the course of the River Usk. It is currently navigable to Pontnewydd and plans are in place to extend this.

Strickland Propane is a fictional propane and propane accessories supplier in the animated series King of the Hill. Buck Strickland runs the company, headquartered at 135 Los Gatos Road in Arlen, Texas, though he delegates most of the day-to-day responsibilities to his 41-time employee of the month, assistant manager Hank Hill. This versions of the Strickland Propane Delivers design is the new/clean version, but I've got another one that includes a nice vintage wash to give it a nice old-school look.

Getting ready to leave Grosmont Station on the North York Moors Railway, steam engine BR Standard 4MT No. 76079 was built in 1957 and served on British Railways until it was towed to a scrap yard in 1968. Fortunately for those visiting the NYMR it was rescued and restored to original condition. It now regularly hauls passenger trains between Pickering and Whitby across the North York Moors.

A digital pencil drawing from my original photograph of Guyers Lock on the Kennet and Avon Canal near Newbury, Berkshire. The lock was constructed between 1718 and 1723 under the supervision of local engineer John Hore. Behind the lock is Enborne Bridge, enabling the horses towing the boats to cross the canal as the towpath changed sides here. This image was captured one evening in early summer.

The lift bridge over the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal at Talybont on Usk. On the navigable stretch of the waterway between Brecon and Pontnewydd, this bridge is electrically operated by boaters. Here the canal is on an embankment above the village street, The Monmouth and Brecon Canal dates from 1799 and was part of a system combined with tramways to transport coal and limestone to Newport.
