60s London Fashion T-Shirts

Dandie Fashions was an iconic store on the King's Road in London in the 60's. It was partly owned by Tara Browne, heir to the Guinness fortune and friend of Paul McCartney. It was later bought by The Beatle's and became Apple Tailoring. Foster and Tara made all of the Dandie Jackets that were designed by John Crittle and sold in the store. This design is our funky retro interpretation of the signage in their window.

This face is reminiscent of the Granny Takes a Trip store front in during the swinging sixties and the London fashion revolution of the time. Foster and Tara supplied made many of it's iconic jackets. The store was known for it's crazy and outlandish store fronts. We've taken some artistic license and reproduced our own version of this design.

Take 6 was a renowned boutique located on Carnaby Street and Wardour Street in the swinging 60's of London. One of the many iconic fashion labels of the time.

Sport This Design From The Swingin' 60's!

London in the sixties was THE place to be. For the first time ever fashion was taking it's lead from London and not Paris. The peacock revolution was in full swing with Dandie style jackets for men, mini skirts and big hair for women. If you wanted to see pop stars like Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger or John Lennon chances are they were to be found hanging around King's Road, Carnaby Street and World's End. They were shopping at stores like Dandie Fashions, Granny Takes a Trip and Hung on You. This tee is an homage to that iconic era.

Apple Boutique was only in business for a few months but this label was sewn in to the regency jackets that defined the fashion revolution of the 60's in London. It was a time when dandy jackets a frock coats were all the rage.
