My Phoenix. During some hard times, friends posted pictures of phoenixes to inspire me. This is my sketch of one. I have also colored it in. People liked both so I'm posting both. :)

This phoenix bird design illustrated the mythological bird that recycles its own life. When it perceives its impending death, the Phoenix ignites itself into a magnificent fire. In time, it reemerges from its own ashes - reborn, renewed, and very much alive.
