Vietnam Phone Case
designed and sold by Jun Pagano
Patrol Boat, Riverine, or PBR, is the United States Navy designation for a small rigid-hulled patrol boat used in the Vietnam War from March 1966 until 1975. The PBR’s were used to insert and extract Navy SEAL teams and were employed by the United States Army's 458th Transportation Company, known as the 458th Sea Tigers during the Vietnam War. They were two models of this PBR; the Mark II and III just 1 foot longer in length and minor upgrade in the last one. These boats can navigate up to 2 feet deep without getting wrapped on seaweed and or river plants. The PBR become quite famous in Francis Coppola’s film “Apocalypse Now”.
