Moonshine Still Phone Case

This color photograph shows a moonshine still which was located deep in the woods in the mountains of Western North Carolina. From this angle is it easy to see the fire inside the natural stone and clay furnace. The copper still cap is visible on top of the furnace, as is a jar of the final product of the still. The cap arm travels to the thump keg where someone has layed some rope. The copper worm is visible spanning the gap between the thump keg and the worm box. A wooden flume is visible over the worm box and, if you look closely you can see the cool mountain water falling from the flume into the worm box.
