ruins of a brick foundation, Ft Stevens 2 Phone Case

On the way out of old fort Stevens, My son and I noticed some old brick foundations. Since I was driving I pulled over and had him hop out and snap some pictures. I have always been interested in archeology, and wish I knew the history behind the building that used to stand on this foundation.there is something intriguing that incites the curiosity in old ruins and dilapidated buildings.who lived here or worked here, what were they like? in the meantime we are left to gaze in wonder at the fern filled foundation that nature has reclaimed, as it glows with autumn colors and basks in the sunlight reminiscing of its glory days.the photo is has a textured border of honey and golden earth tones.
