My interpretation of this painting is that each powerful women controls an element of earth, from a far they watch over our home and make sure things are balanced. Displaying this at the art show I partook in, I heard so many interesting explanations to what others thought it was about, which showed me how art can be viewed in such unique ways. Drew the moon as a celestial mermaid. This quote means that even in the darkest moments of our lives, there is still hope and beauty to be found. Just like how the night sky may be dark, but it's also filled with stars that shine brightly. It reminds us that when we face challenges or difficult times, we should keep pushing forward and trust that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
