The Albany Rollers were a minor league baseball team based in Albany, Oregon. In 1904, the Rollers became members of the Class D level Oregon State League during the season, hosting home games at the Albany Base Ball Park. The Albany Rollers came into existence when the Vancouver Soldiers were forced to relocate to Albany after a territory dispute with the Pacific Coast League. The "Rollers" moniker corresponds to the timber industry, which was a strong local industry in the era.

The Manhattan Maroons were a minor league baseball team based in Manhattan, Kansas. From 1909 to 1911, the Maroons played as members of the Class D level Central Kansas League and were followed in the league by the 1912 Manhattan "Elks," before the franchise joined the 1913 Kansas State League. Manhattan teams hosted home games at Athletic Park from 1909 to 1911, before moving to Southside Park.

The Connecticut Defenders were a Minor League Baseball team based in Norwich, Connecticut. The team, which played in the Eastern League, was the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants major-league club from 2003 until following the 2009 season, when the Defenders relocated to Richmond, Virginia and are now known as the Richmond Flying Squirrels. The Defenders played in Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium, located in Norwich; opened in 1995, it seats 6,275 fans. The Defenders had been known as the Norwich Navigators from 1995 until October 2005. Prior to the 2003 season, the Navigators had been an affiliate of the New York Yankees.

The Boise Pilots were a baseball team based in Boise, Idaho, that played in the Pioneer League , between 1939 and 1954 at the Class C level.

The Ishpeming–Negaunee Unions was the final moniker of the minor league baseball teams based in Ishpeming and Negaunee, Michigan. From 1890 to 1892, Ishpeming–Negaunee teams played as members of the Upper Peninsula League in 1890 and 1891 and Wisconsin-Michigan League in 1892. The franchise hosted home games at the Ishpeming Grounds in the 1890 and 1891 seasons and Union Park in 1892.

The Cedar Rapids Braves were a farm club of the National League’s Milwaukee Braves from 1958 to 1962. The Braves played in the Class A Three-I League from 1958 until that league closed down after the 1961 season. Cedar Rapids then shifted to the Class D Midwest League in 1962 for the city’s final summer as a Braves affiliate. Cedar Rapids won the Three-I League championship in 1958, posting the league’s best record (77-53) before defeating the Davenport DavSox in the league championship series.

The Nishi Nippon Pirates were a former Nippon Professional Baseball team and a founding member of the Central League in 1950. The team was owned by the Nishinippon Shimbun and played their home games in Heiwadai Stadium in Fukuoka. After only one season in which they fell victim to the first perfect game in professional Japanese baseball history, had financial and managerial problems, and finished in sixth place, the Pirates merged with the other Fukuoka-based Nishitetsu Clippers to form the Nishitetsu Lions in the Pacific League.

The Richmond Quakers were a professional minor league baseball team, based in Richmond, Indiana. The club was first formed in 1908 as team in the class-D Indiana-Ohio League. However a long series of financial losses by every club in the league, caused its disbandment. The Richmond Amusement Company, which owned the Quakers, reported loses in excess of a thousand dollars. However the team was willing to continue the team in the league if the other clubs would stay, on the chance of regaining its losses later.

The Canton Terriers was the name of a minor league baseball team from Canton, Ohio that played between 1928 and 1942. The team was formed in 1928 as a member of the Central League and played there until 1932. In 1936 a new Terriers team was formed and began play in the Middle Atlantic League, as an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, until 1942. The team folded in 1942, when the rest of the Middle Atlantic League suspended operations due to the strains of World War II. The Terriers were not re-established when the league resumed operations after the war.

The Troy Trojans, based in Troy, New York, were a minor league baseball team that existed on and off between 1885 and 1916. They first appeared in the Hudson River League in 1885 and 1886. After a year off they resurfaced in the International Association in 1888. They played in the Eastern Association in 1891, and in the Eastern League from 1892 to 1894, when they were replaced by the Scranton Indians. They joined the New York State League in 1899, replacing the Auburn Maroons and were in the league through 1916, when they were replaced by the Harrisburg Islanders.

The Cracker-Cats were an expansion team in the Northern League, an independent circuit based in the American Upper Midwest that also featured a popular franchise in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Cracker-Cats were part of a dual-pronged geographic expansion to Alberta in 2005 that also included a new team for Calgary, another Alberta city that had also lost its Pacific Coast League franchise in recent years.

They were located in Paris, Tennessee, and played their home games at Barton Field. The team was known as the Paris Travelers in the 1922 season, but they played as the Parisians from 1923 to 1924.
