He became the first sultan of both Egypt and Syria, founding the Ayyubid dynasty. Saladin led the Muslim military campaign against the Crusader states in the Levant. At the height of his power, his sultanate spanned Egypt, Syria, the Jazira (Upper Mesopotamia), the Hejaz (western Arabia), Yemen, parts of western North Africa, and Nubia.

OK, its not exactly a like for like image but hopefully it at least looks kinda like a kiwi :) Just something a bit different than my normal. Seeing how much people liked my "Its a Kiwi" I decided to do another "Its a...", this time its the turn of that most interesting of reptiles the Chameleon.

Pure as bro. This is a play on the Kiwi saying “SWEET AS BRO” mixed with the NZ pure slogan. You can’t go far in NZ without hearing someone say “sweet as bro”, meaning anything from yes to fit for purpose. I drew the Kiwi using Koru. The colours are black, with white text and a black Kiwi forming the centre of the O. Thanks for looking at my New Zealand / Aotearoa designs.

Safari based water color drawings helped me to create a series.

I personally love the Bauhinia Blakeana and the hong kong flag as they represent love, I mean who doesnt love that!
