One night, a family was gathered in front of the television, watching a late-night horror movie, when they suddenly heard a piercing, unearthly scream coming from the screen. The family watched in horror as the image on the television flickered and then stabilized into a view of an ancient, dark temple. Suddenly, a massive, tentacled creature appeared on the screen, crossing into our dimension through a portal in the television. The creature was the Great Old One, Cthulhu, an entity of immense power and ancient evil that had long been locked away in another dimension. It was not long before the town was plunged into chaos as the creature wreaked havoc and destruction. People fled for their lives, but there was nowhere to hide.
