About the animal: Visayan Hornbill, Penelopides panini IUCN Status- Endangered 1,200 remained in 2001, though the number is now likely below 1,000. Males, like the one drawn, are black and white with creamy coloured neck, head, lower chest and rump. The males have a striped casque- or bill- whilst the females are darker in colour with a less vibrant casque.
