White Tulips in a Stained Glass Window, Watercolor and Ink on Yupo, by Conni Schaftenaar More play with watercolor on Yupo, this time doing a drawing with Micron pens first of the "window" background, then the tulips and some stems. I wanted to see if I could put wet watercolor over the ink after it was dry and not have it run and blur. It worked!!! After the ink was dry, I started putting down color in the various sections, experimenting with color combinations and letting the watercolor run and play. A couple of the WC paints are of the granulating varieties, and I LOVE the way the granulations settled out - look closely in some of the sections to see what I mean!
