This vintage design is loosely inspired by Samuel Leigh's "Urania’s Mirror", a boxed set of 32 constellation cards first published in November 1824. I've redrawn and refinished this artwork in order to preserve this piece of history. I wanted to challenge myself to represent something with different minimal shapes. Building out the moon's cycles, I had a lot of fun putting this design together to show off one of the most beautiful and ever-changing parts of the night sky. Made using Illustrator
