Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada - late 1970s to early 1980s : Old tug boat docked in Fairview Cove, Halifax, Nova Scotia. I took the photo with my Yashica 35mm SLR and digitally captured with my Epson V370 scanner. I then processed the scanned TIFF like a RAW photo using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop.

Taken on the roadside near Ainley top Roundabout. West Yorkshire, This is a steep stretch of road running from the M62 down towards Halifax, (West Yorkshire). The bus stops approximately 100 yards from where I was crouched and as it sped past me I pressed the shutter release. I am pleased with the result. A slow shutter speed ensured that the bus streaked across the frame leaving the rest of the image sharp. Canon EOS 70D f/16 1/3rd second shutter speed Hand held 10-18mm STM Lens set at 18 mm. A winter view of Brunswick Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada taken from the Citadel Hill arround 1978-1982 (approx). I took the image as a 35mm slide with my Yashica SLR which I purchased in Burlington, Vermont. The 35mm slide was digitally captured with my Epson V370 scanner. and cleaned up using Photoshop.

A single decoration by someone is now a community effort. On a very cold December day thinking of this gave me a nice warm Christmas feeling.
