This original drawing is from the award winning children's book Forgetful Fred by Jay Williams and Friso Henstra (1974) The story is about a forgetful boy named Fred who searches for the Bitter Fruit of Satisfaction for the richest man in the land, Bumberdumble Pott. The fruit is stolen by a witch and in this image Fred is invisible because he wears the Cap of Darkness. He uses the Sword of Sharpness to cut the witches broomstick in two.
