One of the chores in a Victorian home was ironing. Here the ironing board has been set up in a sunny room in front of a stuccoed wall with an old-fashioned iron set up all ready to start ironing the sheets.

It is the early 1900s and this lucky family has a separate room set aside just for laundry. No running out in the rain to take down the laundry before it gets wet.
