Alabama residents show off your pride! Get ready for pride month and represent your states lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community. Be proud to be apart of the LGBT+ community, support the strong, brave, LGBT History or LGBT awareness month in June.

Bi-gender is a gender identity in which a person has or experiences two genders. The genders may be any combination of two genders, and those genders can be binary (man or woman) or non-binary. They may be experienced simultaneously or alternate, and they may not be experienced equally or in the same way. Some, but not all, bi-gender people experience gender dysphoria, especially if the two genders have markedly different gender expressions.

The Drag Flag was designed by Veranda L'Ni. Purple - The passion for drag we all share. White - The blank slate that is our body and face that we all change to create the characters we become. Blue - Self-expression and loyalty. Crown - Leadership in the community. Stars - The many forms of drag.

The first drag pride flag was created, in 1999, by artist Sean Campbell and was called the Feather Pride Flag. The phoenix was used as a symbol of rebirth and fires of passion with which the drag community uses to raise awareness and funds for many causes.

In lesbian culture, the word 'butch' indicates a woman whose gender expression and traits are present as typically 'masculine.' Being butch is about playing with and questioning traditional binary male and female gender roles and expressions. The Butch Lesbian Pride Flag Blue stripes represent Masculinity. White broadly represents people across gender and sexuality spectrums. Purple stripes represent lesbian and woman-identified individuals.

Peace Pride

The Maverique pride flag was first created on Tumblr by Vesper H. (queerascat) in 2014. Maverique is a non-binary or abinary gender with significant gendered experiences but is neither male nor female. However, it is not a lack of gender; it is defined by autonomy and inner conviction about a gender that is unusual and exists outside the standard conceptions of gender. Maverique individuals are free to use whatever pronouns they prefer and present themselves however they want.

The Polysexual Pride Flag was created online in 2012 for people that are attracted to multiple, yet not all, gender. The blue stripe represents attraction to men, pink stands for the attraction to women, while green is for attraction to those outside of the binary.

The Lesbian Flag is one of the flags fewer people know about. This flag features different shades of pink and sometimes comes with a red kiss on it to represent lipstick lesbians. This flag was created by Natalie McCray in 2010. Some lesbians oppose this flag because of its exclusion of butch lesbians but no other flag has as much popularity as this one. In the new flag, the colors represent the following: Darkest Orange: Gender nonconformity Middle Orange: Independence Lightest Orange: Community White: Unique relationships to womanhood Lightest Pink: Serenity and peace Middle Pink: Love and sex Darkest Pink: Femininity

Genderfluid is when someone feel their gender switching from one gender to another, and those genders can be anything, like male to female to non-binary. Genderfluid can also be broken down into genderfae which is when a person only feel their gender switching between female and non-binary genders, and genderfaun which is wheb a persons gender only switch between male and non-binary genders.

The Polyamory Pride Flag was created by Jim Evans in 1995 for all polyamorous people. Each color represents a different aspect of polyamory. Blue stands for openness and honesty of everyone involved, red represents love and passion, while black stands for solidarity with those who must hide their polyamorous relationships. The Pi sign in the middle signifies the infinite options of partners available to polyamorous people.

Agender refers to a person who does not identify themselves as having a particular gender. Other words used to describe agender include genderfree, neutrois, gender blank, or genderless. The agender pride flag was created in 2014 by Salem X. It has seven equal-sized horizontal stripes. The stripes are colored black, gray, and white, with a central green one, then the opposite white, gray, and black to finish. The agender flag has four colors. Here’s what they all mean: Black and white stripes represent a lack of gender Gray represents semi-genderless Green represents nonbinary genders.

While this flag is not as well known, this is the Queer Pride Flag. Created in 2015, the flag represents all aspects of queerness as the label ‘queer’ has become more celebrated. The pink and blue shades represented same-gender attraction while the orange and green stripes stand for non-binary and gender non-confirming individuals. The black and white stripes symbolize asexual, aromantic, and the agender community.

After the assassination of Harvey Milk, many wanted the Pride flag he commissioned to commemorate his accomplishments for the community and their personal support. The demand was greater than the available fabric, so the Paramount Flag Company began selling this version of the flag, as did Gilbert Baker, who had trouble getting hot pink fabric.

There are multiple variations of the Genderflux pride flag; however, the original version is most commonly used – it is unknown who created it, and it is speculated to have been created sometime between 2014 and 2015. It has six horizontal strips and six colors where dark pink represents women, light pink represents demi girls, grey represents agender, light blue represents demi boy, dark blue represents men, and yellow represents non-binary genders.

The trigender pride flag has five stripes comprised of three colors which signify: Pink: Signifies femininity and female genders. Blue: signifies masculinity and male gender. Green: Signifies androgyny, non-binary, and third/other genders.
