My nineteenth work for my 52 week challenge. My little ones and I were playing down under the wild olive tree at the bottom of my garden, when all I really wanted to do was work on my 52 week challenge. So I fetched my camera and began taking random garden snapshots (as you do.) Anyway, I have DONE it, my weekly picture, and that feels good, even if the photo is really random and not very interesting. It is really peaceful down under the olive tree - it is the most spectacular and wonderful tree, completely climbable and like a secret extra room to our house. (If I was any good at photographing trees, I would show you...) I think that the time that my children and I spend there is very likely never wasted. : )

If I have a spare moment, I'm doodling. Then the doodles tend to take over the not so spare moments, and, well, let's just say that there may be some dust in the corners of my house... and some laundry to fold and sort, and some supper to cook, and some dishes to wash... But those don't satisfy me quite like a good doodle does. : )

Ever since I uploaded "...and whiskers on kittens... that song has been going around in my head. After a while I began to think that a composite that included the "raindrops on roses" bit would be fun to do. Not my normal style, but I really enjoyed making this collage. I used my own textures and three photographs of mine (the kitten, the rose, the ribbon) to create this image. I hope you like it. : )
