We went to Fingal Head (on the Tweed River in northern New South Wales) to take full moon seascapes. We ended up getting some impressive storm shots instead. Luckily the rain was south of us so we didn't get soaked as well!

Both times I needed to plant a hand in the mud to stop myself falling & picked up some mud that was almost as orange as my shirt & more orange than my hair ! I love the contrast of dark rock & artistically splashing white water. Towards the end of the National Pass walking track is this vista of Wentworth Falls. With some water it makes a great sight. 2233 views as of Aug 25, 2015. This amazing volcanic rock looks spectacular close up with it's rugged patterns but I didn't manage to get a good shot at closer range .. if that's possible. Timor Rock is 730 m high & is a bluish trachyte mound. I opted for a longer range shot that takes in a more Aussie feel with the fence & the eucalyptus tree.
