THIS IS A SHIRT DESIGN THAT FEATURES THE RAF ROUNDEL THAT YOU MAY HAVE SEEN VIA THE BAND "THE WHO" AND IN MOD CULTURE, AS WELL AS THE TAILFINS OF RAF WWII AIRCRAFT. The roundel, especially that used by the Royal Air Force, has been associated with pop art of the 1960s, appearing in paintings by Jasper Johns. It became part of the pop consciousness when British rock group The Who wore RAF roundels (and Union Flags) as part of their stage apparel at the start of their career. Subsequently it came to symbolise Mods and the Mod revival.

The Irish Rebellion of 1798 was an uprising against British rule in Ireland lasting from May to September 1798. The United Irishmen, a republican revolutionary group influenced by the ideas of the American and French revolutions, were the main organising force behind the rebellion. On 21 June 1798 the battle of Vinegar hill was a major turning point as it was the last attempt by the rebels to hold and defend ground against the British military. Since 1909, Fort Benning has served as the Home of the Infantry. Since 2005, Fort Benning has been transformed into the Maneuver Center of Excellence, as a result of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Commission's decision to consolidate a number of schools and installations to create various "centers of excellence". Included in this transformation was the move of the Armor School from Fort Knox to Fort Benning.
