The Lighthouse Pins and Buttons

The Sawyers Crossing Covered Bridge, also known as the Cresson Bridge, is a wooden covered bridge carrying Sawyers Crossing Road over the Ashuelot River in northern Swanzey, New Hampshire. It was built in 1859 to replace a bridge built in 1771. It is 117 feet long and 17 feet wide. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Smeatons Tower is the third and most notable Eddystone Lighthouse. It marked a major step forward in the design of lighthouses. In use until 1877, it was largely dismantled and rebuilt on Plymouth Hoe in the city of Plymouth, Devon where it now stands as a memorial to its designer, John Smeaton, the celebrated civil engineer.

The Shimmer is the main antagonist of the science fiction horror mystery book Annihilation and its 2018 film adaptation. It is a mysterious extraterrestrial entity that arrives on Earth via meteorite and begins scrambling and combining the DNA of everything it touches. Its humanoid form was portrayed by Sonoya Mizuno via motion-capture, who also portrayed Katie in the film.

Lighthouses are one of my favorite things in the world, the idea of a building that only exists to help steer boats into the harbor at night is somewhat inspiring, so let the design help light up the dark in your life. So Lighthouse, lighting up the dark.
