The imagery of this design comes from an archaeological find of Mjolnir. Mjolnir-- or Mjölnir-- is the hammer of the god Thor in Norse mythology. Thor was a very popular god and hundreds of hammers representing Mjolnir have been discovered. I based my digital block print on one such find.

This cool artwork features a dinosaur silhouette in front of a big full moon and bats flying in the night sky.

This design is based on well known ship-shaped brooches from the Viking Era. I think this ship brooch looks like it represents two ravens on either side of the ship. I've recreated it in my own digital block carving style.
