Westside Pins and Buttons

Chesterfield Square is a neighborhood full of charming if modest Crafstman homes -- one of which belonged to famed special effects man, Ray Harryhausen. It's also the birthplace of Good Fred Oil and home to Antique Stove Heaven. Unfortunately, Chesterfield Square also consistently has the highest violent crime rate in Los Angeles. In 1990, it was where the film, Boyz N the Hood was shot. Canterbury Knolls is a neighborhood on South Los Angeles's Westside. I explored, for my series, "California Fool's Gold," in 2014. Tehrangeles is the name sometimes given to the concentration of Cat businesses in a small enclave on the Westside. Other times, it's used to describe for the entire city's Cat community. Here's a map I made of the former.
