Escape to Witch Mountain is a 1975 American fantasy science-fiction film, based on Alexander H. Key's 1968 novel of the same name and directed by John Hough. It was released on March 21, 1975 by Walt Disney Productions and Buena Vista Distribution Company. It is the first film of the Witch Mountain series.

Explore Canyonlands National Park Retro 70s/80s Stripe

In Zion National Park, Utah, I looked up at the massive, pink monolith behind the rocks seemingly guarding it and noticed the single, light green bush decorating the scene.

Weeping Rock by Debra Martz One of my favorite short hikes was the Weeping Rock Trail; only 1/2 mile round trip but with a moderately steep climb to the Alcove. It begins in a surround of cottonwood, ash and maple trees but can become slippery at the top as there is moss on the rocks and walkway from the dripping springs. Scenic Zion - Mount Carmel Highway Drive 6 The Great Arch by Debra Martz The Great Arch in Zion National Park is a large blind arch in the Navajo Sandstone. A blind arch is an arch of rock still attached to the rock face. It stretches about 600 feet across and about 400 feet high. If you traveled from the east on the Zion-Mount Carmel highway and just came through the 1.1 mile tunnel, you will see the Great Arch on the 2nd switchback going downhill. In winter these trees light up nicely as they are back-lit by the sun. This was taken on the Riverside Walk trail in Zion National Park, Utah, in December, 2005.

Getting away from the crowd, I raised my eyes up to the crevice as the late afternoon sun highlighted the tall pine safely standing high in the haven of the massive rocks. Zion National Park, Utah.

This is a maze in the shape of the State of Utah. The maze begins near the top middle and ends in the upper right.

This trickle falling over the edge of a massive rock in Zion National Park is so high that the water is a light sprinkle by the time it reaches us on the cool floor of the canyon.

Classic Moab Arch is located in the La Sal Mountain range in southern Utah. Stunning red rock terrain and breathtaking desert landscapes make this an amazing trip as you check off your bucket list.
