"Lyrical Dreams" is an original drawing using an ink brush pen. It is a 'one stroke' style of drawing. Sumie attempts to capture the Chi or life spirit of the subject with just a few strokes of the brush. 5.5" x 8". Sand colored light weight sketch book paper with a hint of musical images. I am inspired by the elegance and simplicity of japanese ‘sumi-e’ and chinese, ‘shui-mo hua’ painting.
