*oil on canvas- Paintings that I do like this are from my dreams. I wake in the Morning and with the Image still fresh I sketch it down as a study for the painting to come. In this Painting I am trying to explore how Mining affects the Land and the Indigenous people who are the traditional custodians of the land in it's natural state. I wonder if we are all on the right track? we take the gold out of the ground but for sure 99.9% of it will end up back there at some stage, is it really as beautiful as we say and think it is?
