Approach To Iffley Lock Posters and Art Prints

The village of Iffley-on-Thames at Oxford. At this point the river is properly called The Isis and as you walk along the Thames Path from here to Oxford you pass the Oxford University's college boathouses. The village itself is a conservation area, its narrow streets leading down to the river where you cross the weir to reach the lock. In the background, rising above the trees, is the Norman church of St Mary the Virgin, a Grade 1 listed building.
