The Grumann Space Suit, designed for the lunar exploration program in 1965 by Grumman / Space General for extended lunar surface operations. It allowed the astronaut to withdraw his arms from the flexible manipulators and work within the pressurized 'cabin' of the can enclosing his upper torso and head. Although tested, it was never deployed due to the end of the Apollo program. It was often depicted in Life Magazine in the 1960s, and was part of the equipment of the Major Matt Mason action figure.
