The Wormsloe Live Oaks, Savannah Posters and Art Prints

This is an image of the man-made avenue of live oak trees leading into Wormsloe, just outside Savannah, Georgia. At about a mile long, the avenue is spectacular. The intricate tracery of the overarching branches draped with Spanish moss is quite the sight. It was still very early April so the trees were adorned with fresh foliage. New leaves always seem to have a lovely freshness about them; they haven't yet matured into the darker green seen throughout most of the year. With that, they're more of a yellow-green, which stands out so well against the blue sky. The lightness of the leaves and sky stands in stark contrast with the dark branches, looking skeletal and kind of scary against the freshness above.
