This is the first of a set of pet portraits that I recently finished for a local dogsitters. I loved working on all four of these pieces and had great reference images to work from. Each piece is A3 and produced with watercolour paints and additionally acrylics were added to fill in the white areas and provide texture.

Another Detail from a set of stained glass sidelights featuring peonies created last year for Chinese clients building a new house in Seaforth, on Sydney's North Shore. I've been sparing with the glass painting in this set of windows, mainly enhancing the features and adding some nuance to the textured glasses in the background. I also painted in a couple of bees in this panel :-)

Walter, a jackalope with the spines of a porcupine, is a prized resident of Kraft Animal Rescue, located in the deserts out yonder.

This chestnut arabian mare is a beautiful sight in this studio-style portrait.

Just installed this fanlight in a friend's kitchen today (11.08.12). The black and white chequerboard reflects the floor tiling while the design generally speaks to the traditional leadlight in the adjacent bathroom and other elements in the period house. But the brief called for a contemporary twist, so I skewed the grid to a 45 degree angle and built in a bevel rescued from an art deco leadlight.

The housekeeper of the Yashiro Commission's Kamisato Clan, and a well-known "fixer" in Inazuma. Friendly and approachable, Thoma fits in with the crowd easily wherever he is. At first glance, he seems to be a very easygoing person, but he is in fact very responsible. He has an extraordinarily serious side, be it in his work or his interpersonal communications.
