Country House Posters and Art Prints

This beautiful vintage artwork features an impressionist landscape with a tiny red barn on the prairie field.

I painted this picture with oil paints after traveling in northern Italy, here is a print from this picture

Tiny house cabin with country design on the inside. Black spruce trees for the off grid and country loving people like to live and grow their own food. Individuals with grit and ingenuity. My parents lived off grid in Alaska in the early 1950s. If they lived on the property for over so many years and improved the land , the government gave them the land. Hard work but it was well worth it.

I discovered these wooden doors of this shed during a garden tour around Creemore in Central Ontario. It had a lot of character and texture. I thought I could create something interesting with the weathered boards by adding this mural of a tree with a relaxing swing to the textured wood. The large tree blends well with the vines growing over the door. There is something timely about this old shed. It has stored many items over the years and the green vines reveal that the doors have not been open for a while. What's inside behind the doors? Is it a vintage garden tools from the past? I discovered this small school house while exploring the backroads of Prince Edward Island. I wanted to create a photograph that related to the schools past. Including the road sign completed the story in this image. There are many crossroads located in PEI that have retained their historic name from early settlement times. Canoe Cove is one of them. The Canoe Cove School was built in approximately the year 1850. School consolidation swept the Island in the 1960s, and small schools, including Canoe Cove, were put out to pasture. Wentworth Woodhouse is a Grade I listed country house in the village of Wentworth, near Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Its east front is 606 feet making it the longest country house façade in Europe.

Croft Castle sits deep in the heart of Herefordshire (England) countryside surrounded by 1500 acres of historic woodland, farm and parkland. Home to the Croft family for nearly 1000 years, A building has been on the site from the 11th century and it has from this time been the home of the Croft family and Croft baronets. The Croft family were closely linked to their neighbours the Mortimers of Wigmore and later Ludlow. The Battle of Mortimer's Cross took place on Croft lands nearby in 1461. The present building originated as a castle in the 14th century and has been much altered since. It was the home of a John Croft who married one of Owain Glyndŵr's daughters.
