This painting, Thailand Gibbon is inspired by the need to bring awareness to endangered species, such as gibbons in Thailand. Fortunately, "WARF" the Wild Animal Rescue Foundation of Thailand are helping with this issue by rehabilitating abused gibbons and then slowly reintroducing them back into the wild. Through the creation of this gibbon dot painting, my goal is to create awareness about the situation of Thai gibbons, and the ways in which we can help ensure these beautiful creatures continue to live on! By taking tourist photos with gibbons, you are harming the gibbon population - so please don't feed into the problem!

I am influenced by the wildlife around the outback of Australia I am a daughter of this land I am inspired by wildlife the colours of the Australian outback My love and compassion for all wildlife inspires me to create Australian wildlife paintings on canvas which is true enjoyment I was born Cynthia M. Marks in a small country town called Cunnamulla in South Western Queensland. My grandfather was born Thomas Hearn he was an aboriginal man and I loved listening to his stories of his life as a boy, around the Eulo, Warrigo area which is referred to by aboriginals as Bidjara and Kunja Tribes. He would especially described the wildlife that was abundant there, especially the parrots.

In our culture Ceremonies and rituals take on many different forms. Some were very private and involved only people in that language group while others involved all people belonging to the language group, even children. Sometimes the creation of special and sacred objects of drawings in sand and/or earth (sand painting), the moulding and carving of spirit figures in clay or wood, the painting of bark, the making of specific body design were used in many ceremonies. Often the objects or drawings made were placed in a bora ring or near the site where the ceremony was to be held. That is the reason why we find many scarred trees marking the site where sacred ceremonies were once held or continue to be held Special and sacred songs and dance...

Oola the lizard was tired of playing in the sun and decided to go practice throwing his boomerang.
