Nonetheless, I keep looking at it and feeling increasingly unhappy with the technical side of it; I see flaws in it every time I look, and often wished I'd been more skilled at Photoshop when I did it. I've always wanted the eye to be more "watery" and the fish to look more like it was actually *in* the eye, not just stuck on top of it. I also felt the original fish was a tad angular as a result of my lacking blending skill...

This painting was created after watching the movie „Free Willy“. I like it when animals live in freedom and not in captivity. A prerequisite for a life in freedom is that the seas are clean. Humanity is responsible for that. My painting says, a whale under the water lifts another whale with his fountain and this whale says to the humanity „clean the seas“. The fountain of the whale is shaped like a lily, which symbolized purity. Asanaworld loves the world!

The lake District - A place of pure natural beauty and certainly one of my own favourite places to visit in the UK hence where the inspiration came from in creating this art piece. For those who don't know, the Lake District is a very popular national park to visit amongst walkers, hikers, climbers, campers and many other outdoor sports enthusiasts and the views are some of the best on the planet.
