I took the image as a 35mm slide with my Yashica SLR which I purchased in Burlington, Vermont. The 35mm slide was digitally captured with my Epson V370 scanner. and cleaned up using Photoshop.

I waited until she got to a position photo I liked and I snapped this photo. This is one of the first photos I ever took with a DSLR. My then brand new Olympus E500, which I still have.

Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada - December 13, 2019 : During warmer months the Heart Shaped Pond area is full of romance with people holding hands and couples posing for their wedding photos. The cold weather has arrived, the hardwood trees no longer have foliage, ducks have left the pond and the bench is empty. Loneliness is a rarity at the Heart Shaped pond.
