My original artwork, an acrylic painting of a neried and her blue dragon. They are stardancers, and only ever come out at night. She has brown skin and long black hair; she wears blue flowers in her hair, tucked behind her elfin ears. She wears gold jewellery with blue gemstones.She wears a triple crescent moon as part of jewellery. Their faces are turned up to the sky to watch the night lights and shooting stars. The full moon behind her casts a slight glow around their features. Her forhead is painted a lime green.

This is another acrylic painting 20 x 40cm Inspired by the myth of Ariadne, this painting depicts her realization she's been left behind after her lover Theseus has sailed in the night (while she slept). It's an interesting myth, and am not sure I am overly on her side; she helped Theseus slay the minotaur by giving him thread to find his way back out of the minotaur's labyrinth. The minotaur is her family, or at least, half her blood, so she's sorta betrayed her own family - even though he is a monster! The black rose is a symbol of death, hatred, revenge, sorrow or mourning. It can also be used when conveying a farewell (wiki) and I thought it the appropriate flower for this jilted lover.
