Whitby Abbey, Yorkshire, UK, Dramatic Sky Whitby Abbey was a 7th-century Christian monastery that later became a Benedictine abbey. Table For Two In Fiskardo, Kefalonia, Greece I just had to take a photo of this special restaurant in Fiskardo, Kefalonia, Greece. The colour of the painted walls just made this a place to remember for all the right reasons. Fiscardo is the picturesque and beautiful Greek harbour village on the Northern tip of Kefalonia, largest of the seven Ionian islands. Of the approximate 365 villages on this large and diverse island, Fiscardo is unique in that it is the only village on Kefalonia that has so many of the original Venetian buildings intact and still in use. Beauceron Dog Often mistaken for a Rottweiler, the Beauceron is a herding dog breed originating from the plains of Central France. The Beauceron is also known as Berger de Beauce (sheepdog from Beauce) or Bas Rouge (red-stockings). This breed's most distinctive feature is its hind double dewclaws, forming a pair of independent "thumbs" on the rear legs. The Shy Girl With The Blue Eyes This is a portrait of a pretty girl called Daria that I took in my makeshift studio in our summerhouse in the backyard. I had ordered this Chinese fan direct from Hong Kong to use as a prop in the studio. The purple fan contrast nicely with the model's eyes and skin tone and she used it to perfection, covering part of her face to leave a bit to the imagination. Hope Cove, Devon Black And White Hope Cove in Devon is a little gem that can easily be overlooked if you judge your trips by looking at a map.
