The Australian Cattle Dog is true to its name. It's an Australian breed groomed specifically for herding cattle over long distances of the Australian Outback. They were bred from Northumberland herding dogs brought from Wales with tamed dingoes! So not only is it an Australian breed, it's at least partially a native animal.

Chihauhuas hail from Chihuahua Mexico. They are small and feisty, but are also descended from the oldest dogs in North America! A 2020 genome sequencing project tracked ancient pre-European-contact dog DNA through modern breeds and found it in Chihuahuas! Nowadays Chihuahuas come in long haired and short haired varieties and many different colors.

Pete (ピート, Pīto or Pete) is a recurring character in the Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons series. The first ピート (Pito?) was the first playable character in the series. He wears a white shirt, a pair of blue overalls and a green and sometimes blue cap. The second Pete was Natsume's first protagonist who had brown hair and wore blue overalls and a red bandana.

The Glenn of Imaal Terrier, otherwise known as the Wicklow Terrier, is a well-rounded and hardworking little dog originating in Ireland. It is believed that the Glen of Imaal descends from a combination of local Irish common terriers and the more low-slung Hessian hound dogs that moved into the area with their owners during the reign of Elizabeth I. Cute and very cunning, the Glens were used to protect their homes from rats, foxes, badgers and other farm vermin.
