Stour Valley Way: Fiddleford Mill Number of views as of 15th July 2018 = 300. The delightfully named Fiddleford Mill and sluice gates. Fiddleford is a small hamlet on the River Stour not far from Sturminster Newton in the north of the county of Dorset, England. The hamlet consists of approximately 25 houses, an inn and a mushroom farm. The manor house, Fiddleford Manor is one of the oldest buildings in Dorset, dating from around 1370. Stour Valley Way: Christchurch Quay and Priory Number of views as of 9th July 2018 = 425. The town of Christchurch on the south coast of England dates from the 7th century AD. The town was originally called Twynham, but was renamed following the construction of the magnificent priory church in 1094. Formerly in Hampshire, Christchurch is now a Dorset town and has been since the re-organisation of local government and county boundaries in 1974. Date: 13th January 2013.

Stour Valley Way: White Mill Bridge, Sturminster Marshall White Mill Bridge (Sturminster Marshall, near Wimborne, Dorset, England) is believed to be the oldest bridge in the county of Dorset. Although the structure seen today probably dates from the 16th century, the timber pilings on which it is built have been carbon-dated to the 12th century, and there is documentary evidence relating to the building of a bridge on this site in 1175. A plaque on the side of the bridge reads as follows: ANY PERSON WILFULLY INJURING ANY PART OF THIS COUNTY BRIDGE WILL BE GUILTY OF FELONY AND UPON CONVICTION LIABLE TO BE TRANSPORTED FOR LIFE. Stour Valley Way: The Mill, Canford Magna Number of views as of 11th July 2018 = 510. A shot of the old mill at Canford Magna (near Wimborne, Dorset, England). The mill is in the grounds of Canford School, an independent, co-educational boarding and day school founded in 1923. Date: 22nd April 2012.

Stour Valley Way: Cutt Mill, Hinton St Mary Just upstream from Sturminster Newton (Dorset, England), Cutt (or Cut) Mill is one of three grain mills in the area, the others being at Fiddleford and Sturminster Newton. The mill is now a ruin after a fire in 2003 and the present bricks and mortar date from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. However, it is believed that grain may have been milled on this site for 2000 years or more, Certainly there was a working mill at Hinton St Mary at the time of the Domesday Book in 1086. The earliest millers on record were John Rake and his son Ambrose, who died in 1752 and 1789 respectively. Search 'Stour Valley Way' for other views of the River Stour. Date: 16th September 2018.

The Low Lighthouse was built in 1818 to replace a wooden structure from the late 17th Century. This view looks across the mouth of the rivers Stour and Orwell, with part of Felixstowe Docks in the background.

Westgate is a medieval gatehouse in Canterbury, Kent. This 60-foot high western gate of the city wall is the largest surviving city gate in England. This scheduled monument and Grade I listed building houses the West Gate Towers Museum as well as a series of historically themed escape rooms.

Three ducks in a row on the River Stour at Flatford Mill, Suffolk, East Anglia, England. Flatford lies in the heart of the beautiful Dedham Vale. This charming hamlet was the inspiration for some of John Constable's most famous pictures, for example, the Hay Wain or Boatbuilding near Flatford Mill among many others. Wandering beside the River Stour or looking at Flatford Mill and Willy Lotts House you can feel as if you are actually walking through one of his paintings.
