The 'shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose," is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture. A hand gesture in which the thumb and little finger are extended outwards from a closed fist, used when greeting or parting from someone or to express approval, solidarity, etc.

filled with bright colors, sunshine and ocean colours, this hand gesture is the shaka hand. Much beloved of surfers it says hang loose and ride the wave.
