Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition with symptoms that may include fatigue, trouble sleeping and chronic pain of which can be debilitating. Some people may not understand this crippling condition so I've created designs to help spread awareness.

Sometimes it is important to remember that slow and steady wins the race. In the world of chronic illness, we must take things slow and pace ourselves. Only then, we can thrive. Also if you like Terry the Tortoise then he's just a cute boy regardless of the deeper meaning.

Invisible not imaginary is a statement that is close to my heart. As someone who suffers from a chronic illness, I know first hand how hard it is, especially as it is invisible. I wanted to design something bold as I love bold and bright.

To be a Spoonie is to be a fighter. Fighting to find enough energy to get through the day; fighting to explain your limitations to loved ones; fighting to keep going when the spoons run too low. I am a Spoonie. If you or someone you know suffer from chronic illness, chronic pain, mental illness, or any other ailment that makes you battle for every day: I hope this design helps you feel more like the warrior you are.

Folks with chronic illnesses (EDS, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and so many others) use “spoons” as a unit of energy. We only have so many spoons in a day. It takes spoons to cook, shower, work, socialize, and play. If you’re “saving spoons,” it means you can’t do too much today because you know you need to do stuff tomorrow!
