Writing a Story - Playful retro vintage typography word art for writing a story. A motivational text-based design for writing stories and a possible gift idea for authors, writers, novelists, playwrights, script writers, anyone who's writing a story, and maybe participating in events like nanowrimo, milwordy, a virtual write-in, random typing and writing, etc. Writing here and there, it all adds up!

This bird with roses is based off the Gladzor Gospels. The Gladzor Gospel is an illuminated manuscript created in the 1300s in the Armenian region. The manuscript is a lovely piece of illumination and calligraphy with bright, vibrant colors. This bird design comes from a small section of the front cover depicting birds among a series of roses. I've recreated it as a hand-carved block print and printed it by hand before scanning it to make this design.
