This is a shot of the Totem Pole in Monument Valley, Arizona. Taken at sunrise from the Sand Springs on a frozen December morning. You, and your guide, have to get up pretty early to get this one.

Saint-Jacques Tower (Tour Saint-Jacques) is a monument located in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, France. It is about 52 meters in height (about 170 ft), and it has a very flamboyant Gothic feel to it. The tower is all that remains standing right now from the former 16th-century Church of Saint-Jacques-de-la-Boucherie (demolished back in 1797 during the French Revolution). Most of the stone work and its ornamentation originates from the late-medieval era of the tower's construction back in 1509. The tower is a national historic landmark in France. The Millenium Chalice outside ChristChurch Cathedral in Cathedral Square. Christchurch, South Island, New Zealand Bishop Henry Harper started the cathedral project in 1858 when the adult male population of Canterbury town numbered only 450. The foundation stone was laid in 1864, but lack of funds delayed building work. The nave of the cathedral was completed in 1881 and the transepts, chancel and sanctuary were finally completed in 1904 at a cost of 64,000 pounds.
