The children awoke atop a towering stack of books in the silent city that lives in perpetual pre-dawn light and drawing near the balloons lowering their ladders. Soon they would be carried away from the snow swept city to grand adventures through the stars, across hot desert dunes and to have fierce battles against teacup soldiers. Morning's calling could not be ignored forever though and the children began to drift awake...
